Meet Rima Sibai

Biography

Rima Sibai is an instructor at Jinan University in Tripoli, Lebanon, where she teaches “Methods of Teaching Mathematics” and “Educational Statistics.” She is also a Mathematics teacher at Tripoli Evangelical High School, where she teaches both National and American Mathematics programmes. During her career, she initiated, developed, and delivered the computer curriculum in her school; coordinated the elementary and intermediate teachers; wrote teaching guides for Information Technology and Mathematics textbooks; and has presented in national and international conferences. Her research interest is in the field of Statistics Education. Rima holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the Lebanese American University, a Master’s degree in Pure Mathematics from Beirut Arab University, and a Bachelor’s (Honours) degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, Canada.
