Jailan Al Sharif attended The American International School and graduated with an American diploma and an International Baccalaureate diploma. Afterwards, she studied English and Comparative Literature as well as minoring in Arts, Rhetoric and Composition at The American University in Cairo. For the past 8 years, Jailan worked extensively in the field of education, teaching English Literature and Language Arts to students in grades 7, 8, and 12 followed by supervising and managing the implementation of the Cognitive Abilities Assessment 4th edition (CAT4) for the first time ever in Arabic in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, and Lebanon.
