ACADEMIC DIRECTOR AT CEDARS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
Nada Wathiq Ali is the academic coordinator at Cedars International
School in Erbil, Iraq. Her primary responsibility is to oversee and ensure
the proper operation of all academic activities at school. She made a
significant contribution to that school, eventually becoming a recognised
IB World School for the Primary Years Program (PYP). She has more than
four years of experience working as a maths, science, IT and English
teacher. Nada has a strong enthusiasm for education, learning and fostering
the development and aspirations of future generations. Inspired by Nelson
Mandela's quote, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the
world,” Nada believes it is important to raise kids who are high achievers and lifelong
learners.
